Maintenance of Certification Portfolio Program

The Children’s Health℠ Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Portfolio Program is an institutional resource to help affiliated physicians maintain certification in their specialties. As a Portfolio Sponsor with the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Multispecialty Portfolio Program, the MOC Portfolio Program assists physicians in receiving recognition for Quality Improvement (QI) projects in the form of MOC Part 4. Credit is submitted to the appropriate ABMS member board for physicians who participate in MOC projects within our program.

Through lifelong learning and QI projects, physicians can improve patient experience and outcomes across the Children’s Health system. The MOC Portfolio Program strives to help physicians succeed by offering guidance regarding:

  • QI methodologies

  • Data collection strategies

  • Participant qualifications for MOC Part 4 credit

  • Documentation requirements for MOC Part 4 credit

Deadlines

  • QI Project Submission: November 1

  • Participation Submission: December 1
